This piece was a commission from a friend for their anniversary. I used a more cartoonish style for the figures, and relied heavily on a simple warm color scheme and a more realistic yet dream-like landscape. I added in multiple elements that the client said represented things the couple enjoyed together, like the pasta and wine, the chessboard, and the open book. This illustration was created using Procreate.
